In tones of magenta, reminiscent of the bugambilias in my grandmother’s house, a floating form in space takes shape like an atom in expansion. While elaborating the piece, I imagined a bright light overhead that illuminates the planes. These concave and convex pyramid-like forms offer the viewer two opposing perspectives on life. Attraction is a piece created by painting over rusted steel, a collaboration of materials giving it a rustic, industrial and contemporary feel.
